I’ve been away for far too long, the weekend was a ski trip planned up Mt. Hotham. I’ve finally picked up skiing after years of contemplation (hmm, makes me wonder why I hesitated all these while, I absolutely ADORE this sport).
Anyway, I just tried my hand at Japanese Cheesecake & my cake collapsed. I knew I should not have cut corners & attempted to whip the eggs to soft peaks by hand, should.should.should have used the mixer.
Now I’ve got a full size cake with amazing flavours but terrible (or rather EPIC failure!) texture. What do you guys usually do with your failed goods?
or by hook or crook, finish the cake yourself and let the constant disappointment spur you on that you’re more capable than this.
